PREVIOUS WORK: Class accustomed to various interaction patterns. Most students take part actively in all class activities. However, there are a few students who are shy or find it hard to use the words in English and need to be encouraged more.

AIMS:

Ø To introduce the new topic: “Adjective”

LESSON OBJECTIVES - By the end of the lesson:

Ø Students will be able to use adjectives to describe a noun

Ø Students will learn about words we can use to describe things

Ø Students will generate a list of common adjectives

Ø Students will identify adjectives in sentences

PROCEDURE:

Lead-in 3’	T tells the Ss that they will write on the blackboard the most common adjectives.	T-Ss	Speaking Writing	Ss are offered supplementary explanations for the new words.
Oral practice 10’	T starts to give Ss cards. Each card contains an adjective and Ss need to make a sentence and after that they should read that sentence.	T-Ss	Speaking	Ss practice their writing  skills.
Lead-in 5’	T writes on the blackboard the order of adjectives and after that T starts to give Ss a worksheet and explain what they should do.	T-Ss	Listening	T offers information about ordering adjectives.
Grammar 6’	T asks Ss to complete the worksheet.	Individual	Writing	Ss use the list of ordering adjectives and start to complete the exercise.
Grammar 10’	T gives another exercise. T asks Ss. about the unknown words and after that they should start to complete the worksheet.	Individual	Grammar
